TRF Udisco Set

Theres currently a neat TRF Udisco listed on eBay with 2 days to go sitting on AUD$250.00. Surely a bargain, although the Sellers “Pickup Only” clause may hold the price down. Would be a nice early set in a collection.

Auction Price Chatter

The last few months has seen some big prices on eBay for vintage radio gear, indicating the Recession hasn’t hit everyone! The seller of a 12” Jensen speaker, eBay item no. 180381071136 would have to be happy after pocketing over 3 big ones!

A very nice Art Deco black Empire State AWA also netted the seller over 3,000 Dollars early in July, showing there will always be a market for top quality sets.
Pasted Graphic 3

Another similar set went for AUD$2700.
Pasted Graphic 2

A neat brown Empire State pulled around 1500 in mid July, probably down slightly on what it would have sold for a few years ago. This was definitely bargain priced.

Early July also saw a 1930s AWA Console sell with a Buy It Now for $795.00. If the buyer hangs onto that for 10 years, it should be worth around $795. A nice set, but not one that i would think would be a solid investment.
